Question:
_________
.In general, it is recommended that sensitive questions be placed in the latter part of a social work interview to allow rapport to develop between the client and social worker. Sensitive data is often needed to fully understand the problem so making it optional is problematic. Reiterating that information is kept confidential is helpful, but bringing up the “limits to confidentiality” can make clients more reluctant to answer. Lastly, information is never collected anonymously, only confidentially, in interviews as the identity of respondents is known.
