To change passwords, which command in Linux can be used?

The passwd command is used to change passwords in Linux. To use this command, type passwd followed by the username whose password has to be changed. If no username is given, the current user's password will be changed. The command pwd is likewise a Linux command, except instead of changing the password, it displays the current working directory.
