Question:
By disabling remote registry access on systems where it's not necessary, remote registry modifications and reads can be prevented. This is an advisable best practice, but some systems may require remote registry access for management or other purposes. The Windows registry is not updated separately, and it must be readable and writable to maintain a functional Windows system. Additionally, there is no mode that encrypts user keys in the registry.
