Question:
SoC (System on a Chip) devices are self-contained systems that can fit on a single chip. Therefore, the best way to implement authentication and security is to have their own unique cryptographic keys. The option of using a TPM is not a suitable solution since an SoC is already self-contained, and a Trusted Platform Module is unnecessary. Similarly, using a self-encrypting drive (SED) as an option is irrelevant since an SoC does not have a "drive." Lastly, using BIOS protection is also not a viable option since there are many SoC technologies that do not use a BIOS.
