What happened after Pocahontas married John Rolfe?

The penultimate paragraph indicates that eight years of peace between the Algonquians and the English followed Pocahontas’ marrying John Rolfe. Powhatan refused to return rifles to the English earlier when they took Pocahontas hostage. Pocahontas took on the settlers’ religion during her long stay as a well-treated hostage, before marrying Rolfe. The settler Pocahontas met was Rolfe, whom she did not marry until after meeting him.
