After having executed work and produced a key deliverable, what is the next process that should be performed by a project manager?

The Direct and Manage Project Work process has just been completed by the project manager. Although the Executing is overlapped by the Monitoring and Controlling processes, the better choice is the Monitor and Control Project Work process. This process' functions are to track, review, and report overall progress against the plan. In this scenario, results and performance of the produced deliverable will be evaluated against the plan. Although change control is another possible process that will be performed (many times on any given project), you still do not have enough information to select this as the best option.
