The condenser rejects heat from the system and changes high pressure and high temperature refrigerant vapor to low pressure and low temperature refrigerant vapor.

High pressure vapour enters the condenser and flows through the tubes where it rejects the heat. As the heat is removed, refrigerant reaches saturated temperature and changes phase to high pressure liquid.
